Is this your first time selling on a new marketplace? This troubleshooting guide is designed to help you understand and overcome common issues as you get started.
Tip: Before crosslisting with Auto Posher, create a test listing directly on the marketplace itself. This will guide you through any required setup steps. You can delete it immediately after!
Poshmark
Listing limit
Poshmark allows you to create up to 300 new listings within a 24-hour period. Once you reach this limit, you'll need to wait until the period resets to add more listings.
Please note: if you use Auto Posher to relist automatically, these "new" listings also count against your listing limit.
eBay
Listing limit
eBay has two types of limits: a total number of listings, and their total value. eBay reviews your account every month and adjusts the limits automatically. If you'd like to request a limit increase, you can follow the instrutions on this page (opens in a new tab).
Business policies
To create new listings on eBay, you must first set up business policies (opens in a new tab). You need at least one shipping policy, one return policy, and one payment policy.

Mercari
Payment method
To create new listings on Mercari, you must first add a valid credit or debit card to your account. Please follow these steps:
- Add a credit/debit card to My Payment Methods (opens in a new tab).
- Go to your Tax Center (opens in a new tab) and ensure the payment method is set to a credit/debit card.
- Confirm the changes by creating a test listing. You can delete it immediately after.
Listing limit
Mercari imposes various listing limits (100 listings, 200 listings, etc.), which increase as you complete more sales. Once you reach a limit, you cannot exceed it without additional sales.
Depop
Depop payments
To create new listings on Depop, you must first set up Depop Payments (opens in a new tab). Simply open the Depop app, attempt to create a new listing, and you will be prompted to sign up.
Depop shipping
If you'd like to use Depop Shipping (opens in a new tab), follow these steps:
- Open the Depop app, navigate to the "Shipping" section, and select "Depop Shipping".
- Create a test listing using this shipping method. You can delete it immediately after.
